Intimacy and Self-Awareness:
a weekly co-ed psychotherapy group focusing on impediments to intimacy and difficulties coping with social relations. There are current openings for men and women. Meets Wednesday, 7:45-9:15 PM. Groups now being planned:Coping with Sexually Transmitted Diseases:
Co-ed and couple group focusing on how to cope with Herpes, Hepatitis and HPV (venereal warts). Dealing with doctors, relationship issues, emotional adjustments and coping. Reintegrating emotionally and sexually after ‘the news’: what to do with your wounded body and emotional images. Monday evenings, 8:30 – 9:45 PM.Coping with Aging: Living Through Middle Age:
Turning 40? 50? 60? Middle Age and Aging aren’t all about loss. Co-ed group focusing on how to face and live with the changing ‘face in the mirror’ and the one ‘on the other side of the bed’. What do you do with your aging parents. What do you do about your kids growing up? What do you do about sex? What do you do about ‘the job’? The group will help develop positive attitudes toward one’s self, one’s partner and peers, one’s seniors and one’s juniors. Middle Age is an opportunity to let go of old conflicts and issues and grow in maturity and wisdom. Day & time TBA.
